Aldemar Olympian Village

We had an absolute blast visiting Aldemar in Greece! Family suite with private pool was the best we could wish for, staff always helpful and ready to advise or help out. I even had to visit the doctor, but the examination was quick, antibiotics and other medicaments were delivered within few hours Food was nice, every day new choices, drink menu very wide with nice quality. I can’t recommend Aldemar enough, we are definitely planning on coming back next year!! Thank you!

Wow what an amazing holiday destination We've just got back from a week away here. We usually do all inclusive and this has been our best holiday by far. Transfer was around 2hours but well worth it. Airport there was a bit of a nightmare as so small. We ended up queuing for a while at passport control on way there, and also to check in on way back in the heat. Not everyone could even fit through the entrance doors to get in! We booked a family apartment and had to check if we'd been upgraded as it was so big! We did have to get someone in to sort our safe but they came straight away to fix. Our kids absolutely loved all the pools available and the slide. We emailed prior to arriving to book 2 restaurants, which I suggest you do as they can get busy. The Italian restaurant was excellent. One of the best meals we've ever had. We also booked for lunch at the Mediterranean restaurant and this was lovely too. Service at both was very good. Food at the buffet restaurant was very nice, tiny bit repetitive, but we ate lunch at the beach/main pool buffet as a change. Nikos in the restaurant reserved a table for us every breakfast and dinner time and tended to our every need. Dora at the pool bar was also a lovely lady. She was so good with the kids too. Entertainment was good and there was a mini disco every night for the kids. Our kids also went to the kids club for a couple of hours everyday and the staff were great. Only little moan was some of the toilets were a little dirty at times (mainly beach and main pool ones). We went with Jet 2 and they had rated it 4star plus, the resort however had it as 5star. I would definitely put it between these two. We are thinking of booking for next year as we had the best time!

We paid 2600€ for our stay and received a dirty unhygienic room with many aesthetic as well as hygienic issues and also one safety issue (electric kettle issue). Rust in the living room and bathroom (decorations, sink, bathtub), cracks in the wall, wall paint falling off, carpet full of stains, beach towel inside apartments AC shaft, lying relations manager who instead of solving reported issues said we should seek his assistance the next day even though he knew he had vacation on that day so we won't be able to reach out to him. After hard struggle, lots of nerves and two days, they agreed to change the room for a cleaner one even though they claimed first that they are fully booked for the whole week and I was able to make a new reservation through their webpage (simply lying and unfriendly staff). Food was very disappointing as there was every morning the same kind of food for breakfast, same food for every lunch and same food for every dinner. Yes you can eat how much you want, but imagine to eat 7 days straight the same stuff. The absolute disrespect towards us as a customer was a situation when we arrived at our apartment after 8PM and we found our entrance door open, we've been shocked that there's some robbery taking place, but when we entered the apartment, there was a maintenance personnel who was doing something with the wall plug and could not speak English thus we couldn't find out what was going on and why is he even there. After we arrived he just packed his toolbox and said the word "Problem" and took off. We immediately contacted the receptionist about the situation and they declined to provide any information/reason why was the maintenance personnel in our apartment or what was the problem. We just have to believe our personal stuff wasn't touched or stolen, but our privacy was definitely violated. Absolutely NOT worth 5* and definitely not worth the money, one of the worst vacations you can buy and worst Aldemar resorts so far.

Loved it! Will be returning in 2024 Report is huge with plenty of pools and dining and bars. We were on an all inclusive plan which was brilliant and we ate in the restaurants on many nights. Service was good in all the restaurants other than an odd waiter here or there. Pools were definitely busy but we loved the beach and the surrounding g area beaches. We had a family bungalow which was a bit small because the living space had no alearate seating than the single beds. Next time I think we try the shared pools which looked quieter.

I am going to write an honest review on this holiday We paid extra for a bungalow which was a good choice as we were 100 yards from pool and a 5 minute walk to the huge beach. Pool was warm, sunbeds around pool were fine if you were lucky enough to get one. So we knew it was going to be a two hour transfer but it was with no stop halfway and seemed to take forever. We were taken to our room on arrival by a golf buggy which was great after a long day travelling. ROOM: Room was basic, kettle and small fridge that leaked from freezer bit. There were 2 tea bags, two coffee sachets and 4 bottles of soft drinks in fridge. That was it for the entire week, they were not replaced at all so we just took them from restaurant. Rooms were kind of cleaned every day but not very well. towels changed daily. Our line was filthy dirty and broken so couldn't use it . There was soap, shower gel and shampoo in bathroom, but never refilled. As shown in photos the soap dispenser was taped to the wall and fell off on the 1st day . POOL AREA: Drain covers missing, pavements broken and lifted around pool area Pool area was not swept or washed down the entire time we were there so bits of the trees and dirt were carted into the pool. the ground was really sticky in parts where drinks had been spilt. There was a light hanging off in the pool which did get fixed at the end of our weeks stay We saw a couple of arguments and people complaining about towels being left on them and no one using them(normal). there is a notice saying no towels left on sunbeds which no one seemed to bother with. The sunbeds on beach were in a terrible state, all dipping in the middle and not suitable at all. I told a maintenance worker there was a dead bird by the pool , two hours later it was still there and a holidaymaker moved it. When we 1st arrived we were told by a member of staff in the snack bar we had to buy water from the mini market so obviously we did that, and then found out water was available in lots of the restaurants, snack bars. The pool bar kept running out of some fizzy drinks and one day beer. RESTAURANTS: We were NOT INFORMED on arrival that we could eat twice in the a la carte restaurants and didn't find out until it was too late to book them. Food was horrible, seen better school dinners. Restaurant was noisy and we could not believe our eyes at the armful or bags of food people were taking from the restaurant I watched a lady and daughter take 12 apples and 6 bananas in her bag. No real Greek food unless it was hidden somewhere. Same food every single day/night The chefs did cook a particular joint of meat of chicken each night but you don't go to Greece for a carvery No food for children , no diabetic section Food was lukewarm, sometimes cold Avoid the scrambled egg as it was like rice pudding Tables weren't laid properly and you had to go hunting for a spoon or extra cutlery. Tables weren't cleaned very thoroughly , mostly crumbs were shaken of and what loo

Beautiful place to visit the beach ⛱️ is fabulous the apartment with the pool so comfortable with children few steps from your bed.all the food courts very tasty and so much options to eat drink and desserts for free.the Pergula restaurant is Michelin chef and the Greece restaurant is spoiling local food and service.heaven for coupels and families. Run to aldmar!

There were quite a few issues which we had to raise with the hotel but customer relations have been amazing, in particular Maria who went out of her way to ensure that we were happy, bringing solutions with a happy, friendly and understanding smile.

The hotel is fantastic it has lots of things to do big spaces and clean very nice rooms and comfortable its restaurants are amazing we tried la Pergola and Thalassa they were great and the service was as it should be for a 5 star hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

Many thanks to the animation team. The program is full of activities - fitness and also sports. We really enjoyed the water polo and beach volleyball. Also their shows in the evenings were the best shows weve ever seen in a holiday resort. Special thanks to Matej and Mateusz who was willing to help everytime.
